Which role will be this bug playing in gameplay? The same like current plasma (so replacement) or stronger version or different one?
Current idea is to replace tube-bug called by some players bug-penis, becouse it reminds Dune sand-worms a bit and they have the same purpose for gameplay. So it means only model replacement now.
If the SP/COOP missions development will go fast ahead, maybe there will be both units, one as main bug weapon (the new model) and second (old model) should be unit made by reverse engeneering by some classic robot faction as it was planed in old Thors campaign – some kind of cross technology or biotechnology using bugs features, used for ARM vs CORE war.
How big will be the new Plasma bug?
